At SES NEW SKIES, our mission is to provide our customers with reliable and effective satellite communications services worldwide, coupled with unparalleled customer service, flexibility and responsiveness.

To this end, we have designed and implemented one of the world’s most advanced and far-reaching commercial satellite communications networks broadcasting critical data, Internet content and television programming to points all over the globe.

We strongly believe in developing long-term relationships with our customers and in order to help them grow we are adding three additional satellites to our existing global fleet of seven spacecraft. This upgrade of our in orbit resources will enable customers to benefit from powerful additional capacity over Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and the Pacific and the Americas within the coming months.

The first of the new satellites NSS-9 is expected to be available in early 2009 in the Pacific Ocean Region; NSS-12 will replace NSS-703 over the Indian Ocean Region in mid-2009. Lastly, we are planning a further hybrid satellite, NSS-14, which will provide expansion capacity as well as additional redundancy and we expect to be introducing this satellite to the fleet in 2010.
